MIC Injections and Their Role in Weight Management

By Ollie Anerson

MIC is an acronym for the compounds: L-Methionine, Inositol and Choline. During metabolism, these lipotrophic agents assist in the breaking down of fat in the body.

A therapy that doctors use to help a patient's success during weight loss is to use MIC injections in accordance with a hCG Protocol. The liver is assisted by the lipotrophic injections to take fat out, as hCG does release fat into the body. Equally, some hCG programs enhance their MIC injections with associated fat burning compounds such as Cyanocobalamin, or they add additional injections to complement their MIC injection protocol, such as injections of B6 and/or B12.

The human body can't produce L-Methionine, one of the 8 essential amino acids in the building blocks of protien. Sesame seeds, Brazil nuts, spinach, potatoes and also meats and dairy products contain L-Methionine, which is also taken as a supplement by ingesting or injection. Vegetarians are routinely recommended to use L-Methionine to supplement their diet, as well as patients with liver disease are advised to take it.

Eliminating and processing fat is one of the advantages to using L-Methionine during weight management. Also, this is an essential amino acid to help produce taurine and cysteine, which aid the body in getting rid of toxins.

Inositol, is a carbohydrate, but is not considered a sugar, and was once considered a member of the vitamin B complex, however, since the body is able to synthesize it, it is not a classic vitamin. It is also found predominantly in fruits such as cantaloupe and oranges, as well as bananas, kidney beans, raisins, and peanuts.

When inositol is used at the same time as other B complex vitamins breaks down fat, but when utilized with compounds in a MIC injection, most notably choline, lecithin is formed, and that is considered to help fat metabolize during weight management.

Choline is considered an essential nutrient that, while produced in the liver, is generally not produced in sufficient quantities. Many times grouped with vitamins in the B complex, similar to inositol, it is not actually a B vitamin. The liver, kidneys, and gallbladder require choline in their regulation processes.

Choline is greatly needed to metabolize fat, and during a weight loss regime, it serves to help the liver's detoxification reactions, as well as is a methyl donor.

Two great sources to get choline is from foods like soybeans and eggs, but it is also found in beef liver, tofu, cauliflower, and almonds.

Interestingly, the components of a MIC injection, especially inositol and choline, have been found to improve mental function, improve feelings of depression, and as part of a successful hCG Protocol, MIC injections are typically given weekly for the duration of the program.
